Documentation for Page Vining - Margaret Ring


Notes

The “Early Vital Records / 1741–1836” of Lewiston, Maine, reported the birth date of Page Vining to be “March 29th 1803”, but the headstone that Page shares with his wife gives the date as “Mar. 28, 1803.” However, both of these sources are from well after the date in question. Research is needed to determine the correct date.

1860 Weld, Franklin County, Maine - dwelling 87, family 83. Also living in this household in 1860 were Katharine A. (Rollins) Vining and Clara E. Vining, the wife and daughter of George W. Vining. It is possible that the John Vining in this household was also reported to be living with a Reynolds family (dwelling 103, family 120) in their 1860 Canton, Oxford County, Maine, household.

1880 Weld, Franklin County, Maine - dwelling 24, family 29. In 1880, Margaret E. (Ring) Vining was living in the household of Steven and Sarah (Vining) Holt, her son-in-law and daughter.
